Dead Pixel Test - Screen Check ("the App") is published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.
1. Data We Collect
The App collects the following data to provide its core functionality:
- Test results: Display diagnostic results and test sessions are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. They never leave your device.
- Preferences: App settings are stored locally on your device.
- Purchase information: Subscription status is managed through Apple's App Store and stored locally for feature access.
2. Display Tests & Device Data
- All 9 display diagnostics (dead pixel, touch, brightness, color accuracy, P3 gamut, burn-in, uniformity, response time, pixel fix) run entirely on your device.
- No screen data, test results, or device information is transmitted to any server.
- PDF reports are generated locally and only shared when you explicitly choose to share them.
- The App detects basic device capabilities (OLED/LCD, ProMotion, Display P3) to tailor tests. This information stays on your device.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store / StoreKit: Manages premium subscriptions and purchases. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
- Google AdMob (free tier only): Displays advertisements to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Data Storage and Security
- All test results, sessions, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
- No data is transmitted to or stored on our servers.
- Purchase verification uses Apple's secure StoreKit framework.
- The App works completely offline.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. No test results or device information are shared with any third party. AdMob may collect device-level data for ad personalization (free tier only).
6. Your Rights
You can:
- Delete individual test sessions from within the App
- Delete the app to remove all local data
- Request information about data handling by contacting us at privacy@bulpara.com
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for users under the age of 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
